Dominican new species

My work for the USDA/Smithsonian Institution is to create scientific illustrations for new species discovered by Dr. Konstantinov and other researchers (Project title: Beetle Taxonomy and Systematics Supporting U.S Agriculture, Arboriculture and Biological Control : http://www.ars.usda.gov/research/projects/projects.htm?ACCN_NO=429166). I started from a relatively large size orange beetle to get my feet wet, then moved on to smaller beetles (the second beetle is possibily a new genus!). Beetle anatomy is incredible... to me they are like organic microrobotics. I learnt a new technique called, Digital-Coquille technique by Dr. Litwak, an insect illustrator who has been working for USDA/Smithsonian for more than 30 years.
