Maquette Building
July 8, 2016
On my last day of GNSI meeting, I took the maquette building workshop taught by Reid Psaltis. Whenever I reconstructed paleospecies, I always wished to build a scale model of the subjects! This time, I wanted to create oviraptor in nesting position, so I used the book of Terryl Whitlatch that I bought directly from her during the GNSI meeting as a reference. We first built metal armature, then fleshed it out with plastaline clay. This full day workshop really blew me away! Thank you so much, Reid!

My oviraptor and her nest and eggs are still on-going but will finalize them, soon! :)
