Neandertal!

Added Neandertal page at Paleo Art. So many studies have done for this speceis. I did not describe anything about Genome study in the page, but the results done in 2010s are so exciting! Yay! We are partially Neandertal!

The right skull is modern human skull cast and the left skull is general Neandertal skull cast. Humans have crazily big brain case compared to other primates and early hominin, but Neandertal had even bigger one...

In 2013, I could get a chance to attend a talk of Dr. Svante Pääbo, the leader of Neandertal genome research (Max Planck Institute). After his talk, I quickly drew Neandertal skull on my note and asked him for his autograph :)
